This Privacy Policy explains how Synth Hub collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect
We collect technical and operational information required to provide the service, including your IP address (used transiently for rate limiting and abuse prevention), browser and device information, timestamps, and the keys issued to your browser. Key records are stored in your browser's local storage and mirrored server-side for validation. Checkpoint tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. We do not collect payment information, usernames, or personal identity details.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to issue and manage keys, validate access, detect and prevent fraud and abuse, maintain the security and stability of the service, and improve our products.
4. Ad Blocker Detection
Before a checkpoint starts, the Get Key page checks whether an ad blocker is active. It does this in your browser by testing whether a hidden test element is hidden and whether a request to Google's ad server (pagead2.googlesyndication.com) is blocked. Google may receive your IP address and browser information as part of that request. The result is not sent to or stored by us.
5. Third-Party Services
We rely on third-party providers, including Boostellar for checkpoints and key validation, Cloudflare for hosting and networking, Google for ad blocker detection, and Google Fonts for web fonts. These providers may process data under their own privacy policies.
6. Data Retention and Security
Claimed keys are retained while active and removed after they expire. We take reasonable measures to protect data, including the use of Cloudflare's secure infrastructure. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your Rights
You can clear the key data stored in your browser at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site. You may contact us if you have questions about your data.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy at any time. Continued use of Synth Hub after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
